FIC America Corp. is seeking a Health and Safety Manager with OSHA and LOTO experience.

Will participate in the design and implementation of new programs to comply with company standards and federal, state, and local requirements.

Essential Job Functions

Oversee the safety program and provide supervision of the Safety Specialist
Train employees on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, such as, but not limited to, forklifts, LOTO, personal protective equipment, and bloodborne pathogens
Perform audits and inspections and create detailed reports
Manage PPE program, including placing orders, and daily presence on production floor
Design and implement safety and health programs to prevent, correct, and/or control unsafe and noncompliant conditions
Review and evaluate new and existing operations to identify and resolve any safety and issues in manufacturing processes
Eliminate or control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to human injury and/or property damage
Conduct safety audits and advise management on safety issues observed
Complete related documentation and reports
Investigate accidents to determine causes and how to prevent such accidents in the future
Plan and test emergency systems and procedures to ensure proper preparation
Follow standard work instructions
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

5+ years of Health and Safety management experience in a Manufacturing environment
Experience with interpretation of OSHA regulations and safety policy and programs
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience
Project management experience is a plus
Valid driver's license is required in order to drive between the production facilities
Must be willing to crosstrain
