- Secure Cloud Based environments, particularly in AWS
- Perform ongoing, monthly audits of infrastructure for vulnerabilities
- Advise on and preventatively remediate security issues
- Write scripts to aid in testing, debugging, and gather statistics on the servers.
- Working with client companies to make sure their data is properly secured
- Strategic planning and project management
- BS/MS in computational discipline required. BS/MS in systems engineering is preferred.
- Experience implementing security controls around data and data products
- Experience with build/deployment tools and related environmental artifacts (such as Salt, Chef, Jenkins, Jira, Subversionand Git)
- Experience in analyzing infrastructure implementations from a security perspective
- Knowledge and experience implementing or integrating general application security API's and protocols and IDM systems such as Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SSO, etc
- Knowledge of and experience implementing PKI systems
- Experience with various VPN implementations
- Familiarity with network and security configuration management best practices - SIEM, IPS/IDS, IAM
- Familiarity with Industry compliance standards, e.g HIPAA, NIST
- Experience with security scanning and penetration testing tools (Nessus)
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience securing and supporting MongoDB, CouchDB or Cassandra
- Experience securing Java applications and containers in a production environment
- Experience securing RHEL or Centos
