    Description

    This is a remote position.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Security Architect/Engineer to assist in building and implementing key capabilities in Palo Atlo, native AWS and native Azure to build a more effective perimeter security control environment. The successful candidate will be responsible reengaging the Perimeter Defense Lead to establish overall direction, to build and present proposals for design/implementation of effective control environments, gain approvals with Perimeter Defense Lead and CTO organization role lon the approach, and lead the implementation of the design, document in job Aids the operational responsibility of the and knowledge transfer to operations team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement capabilities such, but not limited to:
    • Design and deploy Egress web access to support Server Proxy migration from zScaler
    • Design and deploy a well architected SSL server intercept policy and facilitate the implementation/rollout
    • Investigate/work with Palo Alto regarding possible gaps/concerns with Palo Alto's IDS/IPS tuning and troubleshooting
    • Design and deploy possible Cloud tagging assistance
    • Design and deploy assistance with IDS-to-IPS rollout
    • Assist in a large Public Cloud migration by building Palo Alto and Security Group policy in Cloud to support application migration


    Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical security engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting Palo Alto network solutions.
    • Proven detailed understanding of Public Cloud environments technology including AWS, and Azure Public Clouds.
    • Strong understanding of network perimeter defenses, including firewalls, web content filtering, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and web application firewalls.
    • Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA.
    • Experience in modern coding languages such as Python and/or Terraform and writing API calls used in the effort to automate manual tasks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
