Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Noble Cellar, a new and exciting fine dining restaurant in Syracuse, NY. As the Executive Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create a unique dining experience for our guests. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and inventive culinary leader excited to push the boundaries of dining in Central New York.
Responsibilities:
Develop and create innovative and high-quality menus that align with our restaurant's concept and target audience
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of performance and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
Source and select high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and maintain relationships with vendors
Monitor food costs and inventory levels, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
Stay updated with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into menu development
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and international cuisines
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the front-of-house team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace and professionalism.
