- Conduct Cold Starts: Proficiently perform cold starts of molding tools to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Process Verifications: Conduct daily process verifications and part quality checks to maintain high production standards.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the injection molding process promptly and effectively.
- Equipment Operation: Start, stop, and adjust equipment as necessary to meet production requirements.
- Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules diligently, replace machine parts (e.g., heater bands, nozzle tips, screws) as needed, and perform minor repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to maintain comprehensive records of production activities.
- Training and Break Relief: Assist with training new personnel and provide break relief as needed to ensure a skilled and cohesive team.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized working environment by regularly cleaning and organizing production lines.
- Compliance: Adhere to all Orotex policies and safety rules to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
- Flexibility: Be willing to work overtime as necessary to meet production demands.
- Detail-Oriented: Possess a keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand spoken and written English for effective communication in the workplace.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as required to meet production goals.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with injection molding processes, process monitoring, and quality control. Knowledge of molded materials, especially nylon 66 and polypropylene, is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A training certificate or a 2-year degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk for 8 plus hours daily.
- Proficient use of hands, wrists, and arms with continual motion.
- Capability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects.
- Ability to lift 50-plus pounds repeatedly.
- Temperature-controlled facility for comfortable and safe working conditions.
