- Retrieve soiled instruments, equipment, and/or carts from clinical departments at regular intervals,
- Distribute and inventory supplies at regular intervals, following appropriate standards to the
- Answer phones and assist callers in obtaining needed supplies and/or instruments.
- Pull instruments and deliver case carts to OR or L&D.
- Unload cart washers and dry items prior to being placed on carts for assembly.
- Move equipment and carts to maintain workflow and to clear traffic paths.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
