CACI is looking for a Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Belgrade, Montana.
The Software Integration Engineer's primary duties will be to support CACI's Sales Team, utilizing knowledge of the products and development processes that take place at CACI.
This will require the Engineer to maintain proficiency on a wide range of imaging and integrated systems including gyro-stabilized gimbals, radars, jammers, and other electrical devices.
The Software Integration Engineer's responsibilities will include supporting customer technical integration, complete product portfolio knowledge and expertise, external customer repair coordination and communication, and remote support for fielded systems.
Candidates must be proficient in C/C++.Customer support will include onsite software development to support customer needs at their facilities. Development will include work on all levels of CACI'S's gimbal products and fully integrated systems. This includes lower-level embedded work, communication between hardware and user interfaces, and updates to graphical user interfaces.
Outstanding candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to coordinate effectively, identify any issues, and ensure they are resolved promptly.
This individual must also be able to work with a diverse team and capable to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, the successful candidate will need to have to ability to learn quickly with on-the-job training and be able to apply skills quickly after learning them.
More About the RoleCollaborate with team members to determine the best solutions customer requirements.
Work with the global software team to design and implement software for use with the existing product line.
Use vendor ICDs to integrate individual hardware components into CACI's products.
Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Develop a working technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
Work with various engineering disciplines to understand, troubleshoot, and support CACI'S's complete gyro-stabilized gimbal and integrated system product line.
Assist with the continual development and transition of new internal research and development projects and products from engineering to production to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Provide integration support to customers and work alongside CACI'S's Field Service Representative Team when integration support is required.Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
Talking directly to clients, either via phone, email, or chat, until they've resolved a technical issue.
Up to 25% travel to sales events and customer sites to perform development tasks or provide engineering expertise to members of the sales team
You'll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in Software or Computer engineering or related disciplines preferred
3+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in C/C++
Experience working in both Linux and Windows build environments
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Effective Interpersonal and Communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Pay Range:
The proposed salary range for this position is $59,700-$122,200.
