- CNC program editing required, occasional program creation required using MasterCam
- Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on metal stock for machining.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as manual lathes, milling machines and grinders, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. CNC Milling machines like the DN Soultions and Grob machines.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, making adjustments as necessary.
- High school diploma / general education degree (GED) is required. Trade school, vocational education and minimum 3 years work experience preferred.

Do you have years of experience as a Mold Maker, Tool &Die or Machinist and looking for a unique opportunity in our Development Center in Jackson Center, Oh? Are you ready to be a part of something new and innovative? Then this is the role you are looking for. As a Mold Maker/Tool&Die/Machinist you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines to produce Extrusion tooling, Blow molds and Blow molding tooling, precision parts and instruments. You may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, Quality equipment, Production tooling etc, and applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Our Development Center in Jackson Center is a lead innovator in blow molding machine builds and product development of containers for top consumer brands. In this role, you will contribute to Plastipaks high quality standards and positive team culture.
