    DRT Precision Mfg. Co. is committed to being the leader in the marketplace by providing innovative technology, precision components, and superior support. Due to significant growth, we are currently seeking excellent candidates for our Sidney, OH location.

    Tool Maker

    Responsibilities:

    • Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T
    • Progressive Die setup, testing, and qualifying runoff experience
    • Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs, and molds.
    • 2 years grinding experience.
    • Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision.
    • Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
    • Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
    • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma/GED
    • Finish surface grinding experience, ID/OD Grinder experience preferred
    • Die assembly experience required
    • Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
    • Must have a positive attitude
