    What we're looking for:
    SHAZAM is looking for a

    Manager, Applications Development

    to join our team.

    In this position, you will lead a team of software engineers who create and support software applications built for financial institutions.

    This is a hybrid position, based out of Johnston, IA.


    What you'll do:


    Provide day to day leadership for a large and dispersed team of software engineers, problem solving and mentoring to help achieve team objectives that align with the organization's overall objectives.

    Foster team member growth by working on individual development plans with your team, providing the tools and opportunities to allow each team member to grow the skills and techniques to help them in their career.

    Ensure alignment to defined software best practices with a focus on quality and secure code.
    Working with your peers, provide suggestions and recommendations to standardize the processes and functions across the Apps Dev teams.


    What you need:
    5+ years of leadership experience; technology leadership is preferred.
    Familiarity with the software development lifecycle is a plus.
    Capability of leading and guiding high-performing individuals.
    Desire and ability to learn technical and business terms and processes.
    Strong interpersonal skills with capability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
    Ability to conceptualize ideas and processes with the ability to deliver to committed outcome.
