    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be the face of Free Baltimore at community events, fostering connections and raising awareness about our services or initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Event Representation: Represent Free Baltimore at a variety of community events through tabling and vendor participation. This includes setting up and managing the company booth, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment that attracts attendees.
    • Engaging Presentations: Develop and deliver engaging and informative presentations about Free Baltimore's services or initiatives. Tailor your approach to each event's audience, ensuring clarity and generating interest.
    • Community Interaction: Facilitate interaction with community members by answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing clear explanations about Free Baltimore's offerings.
    • Partnership Identification: Identify potential partnership opportunities with other vendors or community organizations that align with Free Baltimore's goals.
    • Promotional Materials: Effectively distribute promotional materials to attendees, sparking interest and encouraging further exploration of Free Baltimore.
    • Data Collection: Collect valuable data and feedback from community members through surveys, conversations, or other means. This information will be used to improve future outreach efforts and tailor them to community needs.
    • Reporting: Provide clear and concise reports on event participation, engagement levels, and feedback received.

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred 1 year of experience in community outreach, event participation, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse audience.
    • Strong presentation skills with an ability to tailor content to different audiences.
    • Experience setting up and managing booths at events.
    • Proficient in data collection methods and comfortable using surveys or other feedback mechanisms.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines for event preparation and reporting.
    • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in community engagement.
    • A valid driver's license may be preferred (depending on event locations).
