- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management, department heads and other key members of the business to develop and maintain detailed financial data, plans and budgets.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis of forecasts, budgets, and prior-year financial data to provide insights to senior management.
- Manage the preparation of financial reports to track financial performance, identify and explain variances to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze KPI reporting and benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
- Assist in establishing short- and long-range forecasts.
- Coordinate financial analysis, ad hoc reporting and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Seven (7) years experience in a mid to senior level finance position
- Knowledge of finance, accounting and budgeting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

StevenDouglas is exclusively working with a $300M+ organization owned by an international, publicly traded firm that is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for their growing organization This newly created position due to growth of the firm will report to the firm's Corporate Controller who our firm successfully placed. This person will also get tremendous exposure to the firm's Executive Leadership Team, and work with numerous General Managers of different business units. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in building out the FP&A functions for the organization, and likely hire 1-2 additional staff members. He/She will primarily be responsible for developing yearly annual budgets for numerous departments, provide decision-support analytics on major initiatives, and report on variances from budgeted figures.
