    Job Description

  • Support in compiling financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A for quarterly and yearly SEC filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Assist in conducting research and documenting technical accounting and SEC reporting to ensure adherence to US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
  • Oversee the lease accounting process as per ASC 842, including lease schedule preparation, review, and documentation of lease contracts for potential technical accounting implications, and leading discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the global accounting close by preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for technical accounting aspects, notably leases. Aid in documenting and upholding SOX controls for financial statement closure and reporting processes.
  • Maintain, update, and reinforce accounting policies and associated documentation across all subsidiaries globally.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as FP&A, Legal, and R&D, offering training and educational support as necessary.
  • Offer guidance and address finance stakeholders' requests as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks and special projects on an as-needed basis.

    The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting
  • Exhibit proficiency in US GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Have experience with GL/ERP systems, with preference given to those with familiarity with NetSuite
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Show initiative and self-motivation, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bring experience with US GAAP in multinational public companies
  • Have a proven track record of conducting technical accounting research, addressing complex accounting issues, and creating thorough documentation
  • Showcase collaborative skills, working effectively across diverse teams and departments
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
