Position Summary

Fleet coordinators are responsible for managing and coordinating the vehicle department. These individuals ensure that trucks and trailers are in proper working order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to track, control, and schedule all maintenance for all fleet vehicles.
Monitor location of vehicles using GPS platform, creating reports on location, idle time, and speeding alerts.
Facilitate communication between management/Driver Managers.
Professional image and excellent communication skills while maintaining positive, professional, and helpful interactions with external customers.
Update appropriate fleet management company records with new driver information.
Communicate and coordinate maintenance needs with Operations Manager, Team members and external customers.
Update DOT Fleet Program for maintaining files on all fleet vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Mechanical knowledge of semi-trucks/trailers.
Computer skills (Microsoft Office and other programs).
Time management.
Ability to multitask.
Experience with scheduling
Ability to manage phone calls Work Environment.
