Job Description:


  • Set up bar for operation, obtain cash bank, and stock service bar. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and set up storeroom and work area for easy access to stock items.
  • Prepare a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Record sales, make change, and prepare charge slips. Keep bar and work area clean and sanitary.
  • Identify and handle unruly or intoxicated patrons according to established procedures.

Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Must have direct deposit and a Social Security Card.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
  • Must complete and sign DA form 3433 before starting work.
  • Must pass a health screening and have required immunizations for the safety of those in the facility.
  • Must complete 4 hours of initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and 4 hours of refresher training annually.
  • Must pass all preemployment checks, including a medical examination.
  • Must complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federallycontrolled facilities.

Qualifications:


Skills and Knowledge:


  • Ability to mix drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer, and soda.
  • Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change.
  • Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.

Responsibility:


  • Receives specific instructions for new or unusual assignments.
  • Performs routine work without close supervision.
