    Position Overview
    Marquette University invites applications for a full-time Entrepreneurship instructor
    beginning in Fall 2024 at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice.

    While Entrepreneurship and Innovation have long been a prominent program within the College of Business Administration, we are looking for a candidate who can bring a vison of what this program will look like moving forward.

    The position will involve teaching a maximum of 4 courses per semester, including online and traditional classroom-based courses.

    The position also requires non-teaching responsibilities as a full-time faculty member, such attracting new students through innovative programming, working with industry to help students find their first positions and or businesses, and working with students on soft skills related to entrepreneurship and innovation.

    The position would also require supporting the development of an advisory board to guide the ongoing development of the program.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plans that clearly reflect the program objectives and expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively

    deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade student's work with an emphasis on student development.

    Department and College service expectations as discussed above.
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

    A Ph.
    D. or DBA from an AACSB accredited college of business program is preferred but not reuqired. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered.
