Job Summary:
The Night Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the facility and managing a team of 12-20 employees. This role ensures that all nightly tasks and goals are met efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.
This person often works in a busy environment where priorities can change at a moment's notice, so an ability to multitask and delegate is essential to this role.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· The team includes 12-20 Hourly Warehouse Team Members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision: Directly manage and supervise a team of 12–20 night shift employees, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Scheduling: Coordinate and manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs.
Training: Train and mentor new hires and existing staff on job responsibilities, safety procedures, and company policies.
Performance Management: Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Operations Management: Oversee all night shift operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and procedures, and address any safety issues immediately.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during the night shift, escalating to higher management when necessary.
Reporting: Prepare and submit nightly reports on productivity, issues encountered, and any other relevant information to upper management.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other shift managers and departments to ensure seamless transition between shifts.
Compliance: Follow and make sure all good manufacturing processes, the Company's Standard Operating Procedures, and the safety-first program are followed by all employees

Required Skills/Abilities
· Must be able to multitask.
· Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Proactive, independent, motivated, and detail-oriented manager
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
· Computer proficient, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Produce Pro, and Routing Software
· Able to operate a pallet jack and or forklift
· Inventory control, rotation experience a must
· Energy to succeed in a fast-paced environment
· Understanding of food safety programs & good manufacturing practices.
· Proactive, independent, motivated, and detail-oriented manager
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
· 3+ years in a supervisory or management role experience in produce or other related distribution perishable goods service.
· Knowledge of produce perishability, and inventory management is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
• Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and move/push/pull/lift items weighing from 50-75 lbs. safely and without difficulty.
• able to work in temperatures of 34o-60o F.
? Have a full range of body motion.
? Required to safely operate warehouse equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
? Pass a company pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test before commencing work.
? Check Operations by walking an area of approximately 100,000 sq. ft
