    Position: Production Coordinator

    Department: Performance and Campus Operations

    Role Overview:

    The Production Coordinator role is an hourly, on call position to provide supplemental oversite and management for various events, projects, and installations at Lincoln Center as part of the Event Production team. This work takes place at Lincoln Centers iconic venues, including: Alice Tully Hall, David Geffen Hall, the Stanley Kaplan Penthouse, David Rubenstein Atrium, Clark Studio Theater, the public areas including Damrosch Park, as well as off-campus venues. Responsibilities vary greatly project to project, so a broad understanding of event production and temporary installation is required.

    What youll get to do here:
    • Assist with engaging clients and constituents in the production advance process, providing excellent client service throughout
    • Review and supervise implementation of stage plans, plots, production schedules, and equipment lists
    • Communicate updates of required staffing to stage crew and cost estimates to clients
    • Assist with complex discussions with clients and constituents regarding requirements, budget, staffing work and house rules
    • Supervise on-site technical, trade, union and non-union staff; manage and motivate through all phases of advance and execution
    • Supervise clients and vendors installing temporary structures and maintain compliance with Lincoln Center policies and safety procedures.
    Youll be a fit if you bring:
    • At least 2-5 years of verifiable, professional technical and production management experience
    • Knowledge of rigging, carpentry, theatrical lighting, theatrical systems, lifts, and temporary structures
    • Familiarity with the work and techniques of construction and trade unions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to communicate clearly and consistently with clients and colleagues both verbally and in writing
    Please Note:
