    Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (HYBRID; In-Office Mondays through Thursdays & Remote on Fridays)

    Contract/Temp Pay Range:
    $28 to $34 per hour

    Perm/Full-Time Salary Range:
    $70,000 to $75,000

    Overview:

    Our leading client in the Children's Fashion/Jewelry Accessories space is actively seeking a Production Coordinator to join their team.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be adept at managing various aspects of the production process, from liaising with overseas manufacturers to coordinating with internal teams.


    Responsibilities:

    Overseas Communication:

    Engage with overseas manufacturers on a daily basis, managing all production-related inquiries ranging from facilitating artwork for sampling to providing feedback and final approvals.


    Internal Collaboration:
    Communicate effectively with Design & Sales teams, ensuring seamless coordination on product approvals and related matters.

    Sample Tracking:

    Maintain meticulous records of all samples, tracking their progress from initial concept through to the TOP (Top of Production) stage, and distribute them as necessary.


    Collaborative Development:

    Work closely with the VP of Product Development, Sales team, and Packaging Designer to streamline the development process and ensure efficient progress.


    Shipment Management:
    Receive and process all incoming shipments, ensuring they are distributed to the appropriate channels promptly.

    Quality Assurance:

    Conduct thorough quality checks on samples in collaboration with the sales team, documenting any initial comments or revisions required before samples are sent for review and approvals.


    Liaison Duties:

    Serve as a bridge between the Product Development team and overseas manufacturers, addressing any development-related questions or concerns that may arise.


    Software Proficiency:

    Utilize basic software tools such as Excel and Word proficiently, along with a good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant software applications.


    Sample Handling:

    Manage both the sample and TOP rooms, ensuring they are organized and maintained to facilitate easy access as needed.


    Shipping Coordination:
    Arrange shipments of samples to licensors as required, ensuring timely delivery based on project needs.


    Qualifications:
    A High School Diploma (or GED) is required; an Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

    At least 1 year (2+ years preferred) of experience in a Production role is required, preferably within the Fashion/Jewelry Accessories industry.

    Professional experience with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop is required.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
    Proficiency in basic software tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
    Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Knowledge of production processes and terminology within the Fashion/Jewelry Accessories sector is advantageous.
