Production Coordinator


Star Children's Dress Company, established in 1936, is a privately owned and operated dress company based in New York City.

Our goal is to produce fashionable yet affordable dresses for girls. Our showroom showcases our all original seasonal lines which are visited by major department stores worldwide.

In addition to Rare Editions, our largest influence in the market, we also represent other labels such as Stella 88, Girls Like Us, Rare Too, Chantilly Place, Tween Diva, and our Juniors dresses, Dear Moon.


Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Production Coordinator located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for communication, production planning, production management, project management, and organization skills. They will coordinate and manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring timely delivery of dresses and maintaining quality standards. The Production Coordinator will also collaborate with the design, merchandising, and sales staff to support the production process.


Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Proven experience in production approval and managing factories, with a strong understanding of production processes and workflows
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for workload
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and production software, with proficiency in MS Office and industryspecific tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field, with experience in the fashion industry considered a plus

Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
