- Lead cost mitigation negotiations with suppliers
- Mentor entry level sourcing buyers and analysts on building the financial model utilized to support negotiation events.
- Bachelor's degree in business/marketing preferred.
- 6-8 years' experience and the education listed above.
- 5 + years of negotiating contracts, managing strategic supplier alliances and buying/sourcing experience.
- Strong ability to negotiate internally and externally to achieve required objectives and executes and implement contracts.
- Strong meeting management and facilitation skills.
- Good understanding of marketing, media, and CPGs preferred.
- Experience working in or with the AdTech industry is preferred.
- Experience working in or with Retail Media Networks preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to translate business initiatives into a clear data-driven story and vice versa.
- Good knowledge of sourcing systems and preferable e-sourcing technology.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems.
- Working knowledge of contract law, data policies and regulations for the food and drug industry.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
- High energy level, initiative, creative problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.
- Excellent team interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior service.

What you will be doing
The Strategic Sourcing Department has an opening for a Strategic Sourcing Manager, supporting the Media Collective Team. The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ).
Main responsibilities
The salary range is $95,400 to $123,900 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).
Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
