Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farm / Feedlot Assistant for a diverse operation in eastern Nebraska. Prefer row crop farming experience, along with some alfalfa too.
Strong farming skills with a focus on agronomy, machinery maintenance, and crop production, but also willing to assist with the feedlot as needed.
This is a diversified operation and a person needs to be willing to jump in and help where and when needed, which includes working with the cattle in rotating weekends of every other, to every third weekend.
This is a progressive operation that will provide a family-friendly atmosphere with balance. Options for a spouse who is seeking employment or wanting to stay home with the kids. The farm wants to find a solid long-term, committed farm assistant to add to our team. The area has great schools with options between public or private. Wages and benefits will be negotiated and considered open for the right person. They do work with you on OT hours to paid in bonus or comp time during the winter months. Willing to train, but also want to speak with the most experienced individuals as well. Wages are dependent on overall experience, skill set, stability, and references.BENEFITS:
