    Citizen or a Permanent Resident required to be considered for any position.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Cow/Calf experience necessary
    • Proficient in animal health, monitoring feed intake, recognizing when cattle are not eating, and adhering to schedules
    • Skilled in operating a loader, hauling manure, and handling other farm equipment
    • Experience in calving essential
    • Capable of performing routine maintenance and general repairs
    • Strong decision-maker, effective communicator, team player, and meticulous record keeper
    • A College degree is advantageous, but a proven work history is preferred
    • Tech-savvy mindset

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Responsibilities include calving, feeding, health checks, artificial insemination, and embryo implanting, processing, hay and cornstalk production, overseeing pens, and operating equipment.

    During downtime from cow and feedyard tasks, the individual will support other feedlot locations and assist the farming crew at harvest times.

    This role offers variety, with diverse job tasks to prevent monotony.
