QUALIFICATIONS:

• Know cows and calves, sustained herd health skills
• Implementing graze plans and practicing rotational grazing that varies from 1 day to 3 days
• Openness to new ideas and nontraditional techniques of ranch management
• Selfmotivated, selfstarting, above average communication skills with an eagerness to learn
• Forward thinking, able to see the big picture while paying attention to detail and using common sense
• Low stress cattle handling experience and willingness to also work with a few sheep
• Applying safe, common sense practices around the ranch and feedlot operations

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a solid individual for this Nebraska Cow/Calf and Feedlot operation. Good operation that can provide a long-term opportunity.

Need this person to assist in general maintenance of feedlot, pasture fence, buildings, equipment, and assist with some work tending sheep, ewes and lambs that are also used in rotational grazing operation for pasture quality.

Need experience operating equipment for feeding and cleaning pens in the feedlot using either a tele handler or skid steer in tighter areas.
