• 2+ years of fulltime equipment operation experience preferred, or college graduate that has farm experience. Experience with modern farming practices of GPS, autosteer and variable rate Hardworking, team player, strong communicator, selfstarter, high morals, good ethics, motivated, and honest General equipment maintenance experience is needed Experience with application would be a bonus for the right person Feedlot / Cattle experience with willingness to jump in and assist when needed is a must Experience feeding, calving, fencing, feedlot maintenance and animal health are a plus Truck driving experience needed, CDL not required, but would be a plus. Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farm / Feedlot Assistant for a diverse operation in eastern Nebraska. Prefer row crop farming experience, along with some alfalfa too. Strong farming skills with a focus on agronomy, machinery maintenance, and crop production, but also willing to assist with the feedlot as needed. This is a diversified operation and a person needs to be willing to jump in and help where and when needed, which includes working with the cattle in rotating weekends of every other, to every third weekend. This is a progressive operation that will provide a familyfriendly atmosphere with balance. Options for a spouse who is seeking employment or wanting to stay home with the kids. The farm wants to find a solid longterm, committed farm assistant to add to our team. The area has great schools with options between public or private.
