- Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
- Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed.
- Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Collaborate with security system vendors or a team of security professionals to ensure proper workplace security measures.
- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including delegating or completing maintenance orders.
- Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.
- Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other relevant occurrences for supervisors and relevant staff.
- Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
- Experience: 5 plus years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment and machinery maintenance.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
