    Overview:

    As a Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

    You'll oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from routine inspections to coordinating repairs and renovations.1.


    Maintenance Oversight:

    • Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
    • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces.
    • Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed.2.

    Vendor Management:

    • Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
    • Collaborate with security system vendors or a team of security professionals to ensure proper workplace security measures.3.

    Operational Management:

    • Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including delegating or completing maintenance orders.
    • Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.4.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other relevant occurrences for supervisors and relevant staff.
    • Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • Experience:
    * 5 plus years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Familiarity with heavy equipment and machinery maintenance.
    • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
