    JOB SUMMARY
    This role involves supporting facility technician II & III in general maintenance activities related to the facility, automatic retrieval systems, dock equipment, minor electrical device repairs, light plumbing, fleet shop, and security.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and requirements
    • Develop understanding of controls and electric systems
    • Handle small electrical repairs and welding projects
    • Learn about refrigeration operations
    • Complete various building or grounds projects as needed
    • Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks
    • Maintain facility assets through scheduled maintenance and repair activities
    • Conduct inspections and minor repairs on various systems and equipment
    • Log time and materials into the maintenance management system
    • Participate in on-call program
    • Process work requests promptly
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
    • Respond to emergency situations
    • Promote overall safety in the department
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Interact effectively and demonstrate cooperation
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Facility maintenance tech school is a plus
    Professional Skills
    • Ability to interpret technical procedures and regulations
    • Strong math skills
    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
    • Valid state Driver's License
    • Completion of a defensive driving program
    • Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification
    Physical Demands
    • Ability to perform various physical tasks
    • Specific vision abilities required
    Working Conditions
    • Exposure to various environmental conditions
    • Non-traditional business hours
    • Possible travel to other locations
