The Scrum Master is a member of an agile team with responsibility for facilitating the Scrum process and the overall health of their product team.

Job Responsibilities:
Supports the Product Owner with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring that user stories (i.e., a short description of a small piece of desired system or software functionality) it contains are ordered, well defined, and ready to be worked on by the team.
Assumes leadership role when engaging with other scrum teams to assist in achieving customer satisfaction.
Assist Product Owner and team in coordinating work and resources associated with operational support projects or tasks.
Manages work intake with external teams and manages support ticket queue.
Attends and assists in facilitating team ceremonies: Daily Standup, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Demonstration.
Facilitates the completion of work to maximize business value.
Assists in representing the team in the Scrum of Scrums ceremony (i.e., a technique for coordinating work across multiple agile teams to ensure the integration of each teams output in the overall solution) by bringing questions, impediments and risks to discuss and resolve with the other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the group and organization.
Understands and follows agile best practices and coaches teammates to embrace agile methodologies.
Helps the team to identify areas of improvement, facilitating retrospective discussions and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.
Actively identifies areas of continuous improvement to embed in the team's agile ways of working.
Job Requirements:
3 years – Related work experience in Project or Product Delivery, Product Management, Software Project Delivery, IT and/or Business Operations or related area.
Work Tracking Tools:
Knowledge and use of work management tracking applications such as Azure DevOps Boards, Jira, Confluence.
Agile Scrum, Product Owner or Scrum Master certifications such as: Certified Scrum Master
Agile Methodologies:
Knowledge of concepts, including Agile Scrum and/or Kanban, and application of Agile methodology (e.g., Lean, SAFe, LeSS) for project management to be able to design, implement and manage projects.
Collaboration:
Ability to participate in co-operative working relationships including knowledge sharing and partnership in achieving solutions within and across business or operational functions.
Experience as a Scrum Master for a delivery team that was actively applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.1 Year – Experience with Agile frameworks such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS.
Facilitation:
Ability to lead impactful meetings, optimize group processes, foster collaboration, and assist a group or team in understanding and achieving their objectives.
