- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and perform payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods.
- Maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax details.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status, payment details, and account information.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable aging, ensuring timely payments and adherence to payment terms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Monday-Friday: 40 hours/week
