Job Summary:

Duties:

• Open large volume of mail, sort & process accounts payable invoices & ensure high level of accuracy and completeness.
• Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and distribute to correct dept.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with monthend closing activities related to accounts payable
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoice or paymentrelated inquiries
• Stay uptodate with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation principles
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) & all Microsoft based programs
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and GAAP
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay:
$55, $60,000.00 per year
