- Monitor production and quality control
- Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
- Regulate supply of materials to ensure accurate inventory.
- Implement and manage procedures to keep production costs within budget
- Ensure product standards that will exceed our customers' expectations.
- Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure strategic initiatives are met.
- Establish group and individual accountabilities for the manufacturing teams for problem solving and cost reduction
- Manage spending per production budget
- Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships at all levels
- Lead safety initiative
- Ensures plant complies with health and safety regulations.
- Coach teams in best practices and resolve escalated issues and problems
- Conduct and complete performance evaluations
- Responsible to train and motivate direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience with progressive leadership ability to coach and motivate associates
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Lean Manufacturing experience preferred; certification not required
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Analytical skills with critical and tactical decision-making capabilities

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and management of the teams, from production to logistics. This manager will ensure the quality and on-time delivery of products, while also ensuring the safety of the workplace for associates. The successful Plant Manager will have a history of collaboration and the ability to establish clear goals and tasks to achieve short-term and long-term corporate goals for the teams.
