**YOUR ROLE: - Maintain effective communication with Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders & other Therma-Tru locations concerning material issues, customer orders and planned order shipments- Maintain accurate & effective communication with Lowe's about customer order shipments
- Effectively use E21 Operating System to access and drive order information and day to day control system transactions for POs, receiving and transfers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Monitor material inventories, tracks progress of production and review factors that affect schedules
- Manage, evaluate and control the sequence of production and customer order shipments
- Organize customer order information in the E21 system for daily review & modify
- Print, audit, release the actual flow of customer orders to the production floor for completion
- Coordinate communication and shipments schedules with appropriate freight carriers
- Prepare all related shipping documents and labels and audit accuracy of information
- Monitor customer order status in E21 & change order status as needed
- Keep Manager advised of material issues and pending material problems
- Perform daily material component part cycle counts and make system adjustments as needed
- Complete daily E21 system transactions for Defective / Damaged material
- Assist Manager and Group Leaders with monitoring of shop supplies on the production floor
- Communicate with local vendors about plant supplies, service needs and & any other issues
- Maintain files & records associated with purchases, receiving, transfers and cycle counts
- Assist Manager and Group Leaders in the correct identification of plant's material component parts
- Other duties as assigned
In this position you will review and direct the purchase of supplies needed for the production operation, work directly with the Supervisor and Group Leaders in the scheduling & completion of production & the shipping of finished product.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
- E21 Experience
- Obtain or have forklift license
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
- Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
- Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
