    Job Summary:


    The Finance Department is currently seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with strong accounting, problem-solving, and communication skills for our Zionsville, IN location.

    The Senior Staff Accountant will complete a variety of monthly close, cash management, and analysis tasks to support the Finance team and will work closely with stakeholders across the organization.

    The ideal candidate is a highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.

    Tasks are performed on behalf of multiple legal entities within the Group One Thousand One family of companies.


    Main Accountabilities:

    • Works with Treasury for billing, cash management/forecasting and accounts payable
    • Responsible for the reconciliation of existing and on-going projects, including budget to actual
    • Assist in the allocation and preparation of monthly expense/variance reporting
    • Completes daily accounting as well as monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
    • Performs account and bank reconciliations
    • Performs other duties as requested

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
    • CPA or CPA eligible preferred
    • 3+ years of public/industry accounting experience
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Experience with Oracle or Workday Financials a plus
    • Experience with Power BI a plus
    • Advanced working knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    • A mature professional with excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Superior organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and can multitask
    • Internally driven and self-motivated
    • Clear communicator with the ability to interact with senior leaders
    • Commitment to customer service and quality
