    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for numbers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Conduct general ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
    • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
    • Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and ensure adherence to relevant guidelines.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software..
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
