    Description
    We are looking for a

    Financial Controller

    to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting efforts, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial projections and facilitate effective resource allocation.


    Collaborate with senior management in making informed financial decisions, providing insights and analysis to support business strategies and growth initiatives.

    Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.


    Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

    Establish and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

    Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital while ensuring funds are available for operational needs and growth initiatives.

    Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards and best practices.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

    7+ years in financial management and accounting roles, with at least 3 years of management experience

    Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.

    Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with systems implementation is a plus.

    Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of financial data.
