    Description

    Our Mission

As a first stop in Questrom's residential MBA programs, the MBA Center for Academic and Community Engagement is a collaborative, fun, and inclusive resource that promotes growth in current and future business leaders. The Center enhances academic and professional success by fostering connections and lifelong skills through individualized guidance and community engagement. Our goal is that through this work every MBA student experiences belonging to Questrom and knows they matter.

Community Engagement and the MBA Center

The MBA Center Community Engagement team is dedicated to facilitating ways our graduate community members connect and engage through co- and extra-curricular opportunities, both digitally and in-person. We do so by overseeing supplemental class experiences, special events, communications strategies, affinity groups, and more, and by ensuring back-end operations support these parts of the student experience. This team works in close collaboration with colleagues across Questrom and BU, from Questrom Events and IT to program faculty to those in our peer student services offices.

Program Manager, Specialty MBA Programs and Curricular Initiatives, Community Engagement

At Questrom, Specialty MBA Programs and Curricular Initiatives include the Health Sector Management (HSM) MBA, the Social Impact MBA, the Digital Technology (MSDT) program, and various career- or industry-focused communities. As the bridge between classroom learning and community programming, the Program Manager collaborates with assigned faculty of Specialty MBA Programs and special curricular initiatives such as learning communities to ensure learning extends to both a lifelong network of peers and related career opportunities. They specifically accomplish this by steering program operations, by creating and communicating educational and social opportunities, by translating faculty vision into action, and by engaging alumni within program objectives. Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement, the Program Manager also supervises a Senior Program Coordinator, and with that person's support manages data, budgets, and correspondence pertaining to these programs.
