    Description

    Job Objective:
    Monitors, maintains, and controls the safe, healthy and environmentally sound operations of the gas/oil pipelines

    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    Maintains safe and healthy work environment by practicing safety and pipeline standards, adhering to legal regulations, and conducting inspections. Supports company vision and mission.
    Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and improvement.
    Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and in punctual to work and meetings.
    Works independently under minimal supervision.
    Regularly performs a wide spectrum of non-routine, moderate to high-complexity assignments requiring technical evaluation, innovation and judgement.
    Uses knowledge and experience to solve moderate to high-complexity problems.
    Regularly called upon to make independent decisions and to coordinate activities of others. Thoroughly understands industry and system requirements. Has demonstrated ability to produce results and to meet more complex goals. Able to apply fundamental economic evaluations and to present recommendations.
    Consistently demonstrates proficiency in leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills.
    Maintains confidentialities.
    Demonstrates professional conduct and business ethics.
    Demonstrates solid leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.

    Readily identifies and promptly acts upon or efficiently organizes any efforts needed to address safety and operational efficiencies, and protection of community, personnel, environment and assets.

    Understands the basics of pipeline maintenance and operation.
    Has the ability to launch and receive pigs and manage the associated liquids.
    Works to understand the encroachment process and to manage the associated documentation.
    Demonstrates understanding and operation of dehydration and separation equipment.


    Other Job Responsibilities:


    Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.

    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    Other duties as assigned by management.


    Qualifications:
    Two (2) years
    • Four (4) years minimum oil and gas and pipeline experience.
    Ability to accurately solve problems.
    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
    Ability to perform work assignments with little or no supervision.
    Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
    Ability to accurately perform tasks.
    Good written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to work effectively with different truck groups that transport product.

    Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:

    Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).Proficiency in the use of a company provided laptop and/or iPad, to utilize for data entry, safety form completion and pipeline map referencing.

    Ability to make independent, rational decisions, as required.
    Ability to maintain the integrity of the pipeline process.
    Ability to work alone and highly motivated.
    Ability to operate a motor vehicle in and around process area. Ability to consider safety in all decisions.
    Self-starter, team player, and comfortable working under pressure.


    Education Requirements:

    Required:
    High School diploma or GED.

    Some college preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
