    Description
    What's the role?

    As a DevOps Lead reporting to the DevOps Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the implementation of DevOps practices within our organization.

    Your responsibilities will span overseeing a team of DevOps engineers, collaborating with development and operations teams, and ensuring the seamless integration of continuous testing alongside continuous integration and delivery practices to achieve high-quality software solutions.

    Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they meet individual and team goals.
    Collaborate with the DevOps Manager to define and execute the overall DevOps strategy for the organization.
    Contribute to the development of roadmaps, goals, and objectives for the DevOps team.
    Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated integration, testing, deployment, and delivery of software.
    Implement and advocate for continuous testing practices, including automated unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.

    Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code practices, utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

    Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with tools like Kubernetes.
    Optimize containerized deployments for scalability, reliability, and resource efficiency.
    Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for applications and infrastructure.
    Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and system issues.
    Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
    Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
    Maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices.
    Provide training and documentation to team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.

    What do you need? Preferred education/ qualifications:
    Graduate level (bachelor's or higher) degree in Information Technology or related field.
    Significant technical centric job experience (3+ years) can count in place of technical degree.
    Agile qualifications preferred, PMI-ACP or SCRUM.
    Hold relevant DevOps certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified:
    Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Docker Certified Associate.

    Knowledge & Experience:
    Proven experience in a DevOps role with increasing responsibilities.
    Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, deployment processes, and environment management best practices.
    Leadership experience in managing and mentoring DevOps teams.
    Strong understanding of CI/CD, continuous testing, IaC, containerization, and orchestration.
    Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
    Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
    Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

    Experience of working with modern DevOps tools as Jenkins, Atlassian, Github, and other automation frameworks for testing, build and deployment.

    Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
    Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
    Deep knowledge and experience and belief in Agile methodology.
    Demonstrable experience of working in complex operational environment managing cross-functional teams.
    Experience in telco industry, preferably in an international multi-market environment.
    Proven experience engaging effectively with and senior level management.
    Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
    Experience working in cross-functional, international teams.
    Track record of concurrently handling a variety of projects while coordinating and supporting the efforts of cross-functional team members
    Preferably bi-lingual - English Spanish or optionally, excellent skills in one of the languages and fluency on the other
