Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation's leading brands. We're looking to hire a DESIGN PRODUCER for a global tech company.

You'll support multiple product design teams in website and user experience design for various web tools and software interfaces. Collaborates with Design Managers and other Producers, providing team and project leadership. Will work closely with design team and cross-functional partners to define project requirements, clarify design goals, lead design reviews, and ensure quality release of final products and features.

This is a full-time 6-month contract opportunity that is located in Los Angeles or Cupertino, CA, and is hybrid onsite in either location. The application deadline is Wednesday, May 1st.

Design Producer Responsibilities:

Manage cross-functional relationships while serving as a representative of the design team.
Assist the HI team in creating project plans, establishing key milestones, and monitoring issues.
Facilitate design brainstorms and workshops.
Conduct meetings and design reviews, documenting key ideas, decisions, issues, and action items.
Regularly track and report project status on a weekly basis, including communicating progress and anticipated outcomes.
Collaborate with the Design Manager to drive planning efforts.
Negotiate design team priorities considering limited resources and sometimes aggressive schedules.
Ensure timely handoff of design compositions and specifications to engineering.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to maintain design integrity throughout implementation.
Continuously enhance processes and communication strategies within a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.

Design Producer Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience as a producer/project manager in software design, digital, or creative agency settings; experience preferred.
Proficiency in understanding UX/UI principles and software ideation, execution, and delivery processes.
Familiarity with best practices in desktop, mobile, and native app design.
Comprehensive understanding of integrating design, business, marketing, engineering, and stakeholder teams to clarify project requirements, define design goals and strategy, and execute delivery processes.
Ability to quickly grasp complexity, prioritize key issues, and adapt to constant change.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, drive results, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
