- Find innovative solutions to complex human factors challenges for new or existing systems
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams involving end-users, cognitive scientists, designers, developers, and stakeholders
- Plan and conduct human factors research, including user personas development, task analysis, user interface design, usability testing, and training needs identification
- Produce detailed human factors engineering documentation
- Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Human Factors methods, standards, and measures
- Hands-on experience in Human Factors research, usability testing, user-centered design, and user interface development
- Ability to lead small teams effectively
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple Human Factors projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Eligibility for US Government DOD security clearance
- Willingness to commute to the office and client locations, including military sites
- Ph.D. in Human Factors or a related field
- 7+ years of industry experience
- Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) or government projects
- Work experience with UI/UX designers
- Proficiency in experiment design and human performance measurement
- Facilitation of workshops with end-users
- Familiarity with DoD Human Systems Integration policies
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe XD or Illustrator
- Understanding of DoD programs and technologies
- Occasional travel to user, collaboration, and client sites (domestic and international)
