    Description


    The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the dermatologists and Mohs surgeon in a busy cosmetic dermatology practice.

    This position involves assisting with medical dermatology, cosmetic, and surgical appointments. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a dermatology practice and be familiar with electronic medical records. An outgoing personality and the ability to work well within a team are essential.


    Responsibilities:

    Rooming Patients:
    Escort patients to examination rooms, take vital signs, and update all components of the patients medical history.

    Assisting Providers:
    Support dermatologists and Mohs surgeons during medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.

    Scribing:
    Document patient encounters, answer patient questions with guidance from providers, and follow up on clinical inquiries.

    Administrative Tasks:
    Handle administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

    Required Skills & Experience

    2+ years of medical assistant experience
    Highly professional, outgoing, and comfortable with clientele

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Experience with cosmetic procedures such as Botox, chem peels, facials, dermaplaning, etc...

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
