ESP Global Services is op zoek naar een desktop support technicus die werkt in Shiphol, Nederland.
Over de functie:
Als Desktop Support Engineer in Schiphol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het afhandelen van technische problemen die door de helpdesk zijn geëscaleerd en werk je samen met eindgebruikers om hardware-, software- en connectiviteitsproblemen op te lossen, samen met het ondersteunen van de business op projectbasis en IMACS.

Om ondersteuning te bieden op het Client-besturingsplatform is deze functie verantwoordelijk voor desktop-/eindgebruikertechnologieën, samenwerkingstools en mobiele technologieën en printen, inclusief laptop/mobiele apparaten, videoconferenties en netwerk-/afstandstoegang. Deze functie werkt samen met de Service Desk voor eindgebruiker break/fix en andere ondersteuningsfuncties.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

Installeren, oplossen van problemen en repareren van desktops, printers, laptops en randapparatuur.
On-site reparaties uitvoeren voor laptops en desktops.
Desktopconfiguraties beheren, inclusief hardware-upgrades en -vervangingen.
Beoordelen en onderhouden van beveiligingsprofielen en antivirussoftware.
Maandag tot vrijdag, van 9:00 tot 17:00 uur.

Over de functie:

Vaardigheden en ervaring:
2+ jaar ervaring met het bieden van ondersteuning op het gebied van IT-infrastructuur, waaronder het oplossen van problemen met hardware, software en besturingssystemen.
Vaardig in desk-side ondersteuning en PC break/fix inclusief basisbeheer van Windows O/S.
Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels. Talen worden beoordeeld tijdens de selectieprocedure.
Goede kennis van en ervaring met Microsoft desktop software en besturingssystemen.
Kennis van draadloze netwerken
Inzicht in netwerkprotocollen, serverhardware en -configuraties, of andere IT-kwalificaties.
Fysieke vereisten:
In staat zijn om 20-40 kilogram aan apparatuur op te tillen of te duwen indien nodig.
In staat om langere tijd te staan of te knielen.
Mechanisch gereedschap kunnen gebruiken.
