- Documentation Management:
- Review caregiver documentation, including progress notes, on a regular basis for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with caregivers to ensure all required documents are submitted on time.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for caregiver documents, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or missing information in caregiver documentation.
- Front Office Management:
- Manage the front desk, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting area for clients and their families.
- Direct incoming calls and messages to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination as needed.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance to caregivers on proper documentation procedures and requirements.
- Offer support and clarification to caregivers regarding documentation-related queries.
- Maintain open communication channels to address caregiver concerns and facilitate smoother documentation processes.
- Caregiver Appreciation Coordinator:
- Coordinate birthday messages and job anniversary celebrations for caregivers, ensuring personalized and meaningful gestures.
- Plan and execute regular appreciation events and activities to foster a culture of recognition and camaraderie within the caregiving team.
- Develop and manage caregiver recognition programs, gather feedback, and communicate effectively to keep caregivers informed about appreciation initiatives and opportunities for recognition.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
