Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

Soliant is currently seeking aBoard Certified Behavior Analystto assist a school district in the Gages Lake, Illinoisarea. A great candidate wouldhave experience working with children with developmental disabilities like ASD and will be able to provide services such as Behavior Intervention Plans, Functional Behavior Assessments, and positive reinforcement strategies. Schools experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to address the needs of students.
Use a variety of techniques to teach new skills and promote positive behavior change.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to identify the purpose or function of problem behaviors.
Provide services such as Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and positive reinforcement strategies.

Requirements:

Masters degree in psychology, sociology, education, or another related field.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Clinical internship and state-licensed exam pletion.
Continuing education credits to maintain license.
