At Amys ABA Therapy Services, we are a growing team of passionate, driven individuals, focusing on providing quality, comprehensive ABA therapy, in-home for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) throughout Chicago area and suburbs.


JOB SUMMARY:


The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the design and implementation of individualized educational and behavioral treatment programs for our clients in their home setting.

The BCBA is accountable for developing the relationship with the client and family and ensuring that their treatment plan and goals are met, communicated, and agreed upon.

The BCBA coaches and evaluates therapists' performance and will provide guidance and counseling to their team members in setting programs, as well as, training and mentoring the team members to ensure high-quality service is being provided.

The BCBA will also provide assistance in the hiring, selection and placement of therapists.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


  • Conduct assessments for new and current clients
  • Develop and monitor individualized programs for each client
  • Lead, supervise and provide training to therapists to ensure treatment integrity
  • Ensure that all clients and team members are receiving the best possible treatment plans, training, and communication
  • Summarize data and report progress to families and therapists
  • Assist with quarterly performance evaluations of team members, including recommendations as to advancement or other changes in status
  • Hold coaching/training sessions for team members as needed
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, and based on these assessments, design and maintain top quality treatment programs.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate and organized client notes, data, and reports.
  • Train clients' guardians/family members on treatment techniques; maintain a positive working relationship with clients' family/guarding; respond to questions in timely and professional manner.
  • Track and report time spent in direct contact with clients, and time spent preparing documents, reports, and other materials related to clients
  • Follows all confidentiality and privacy policies of Amys ABA Therapy Services, and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information.
  • Attend required trainings, fundraisers, and other Company sponsored events as needed

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Experience in training or supervising support staff
  • Solid knowledge of the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis, including: general behavioral assessment, goal and program development, and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis
  • Strong leadership skills and work ethic
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with various technologies such as Microsoft and access to a working computer and internet connection
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Strong Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards
  • Excellent followthrough skills, selfmotivated, and detailoriented

Education:


  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology or special education

License:


  • BCBA Certification (Required and must)
