    **SNG - Accounting & Reporting Assistant Manager**

    **Location:** Singapore, SG *Intesa Sanpaolo is the banking group leader in Italy.     MAS regulatory reporting - Responsible for preparation of daily MAS reports to ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and compliance with Banking Act and MAS Notices to Banks - Responsible for the delivery of regulatory returns prescribed by MAS Notices to Banks - Prepare regulatory reports as assigned, perform variance analysis and address queries from the regulators, business or support units - Perform/Review on MAS/Department of Statistics reports with variance analysis - Participate in projects and initiatives that impact regulatory reports and system, as well as to improve the regulatory reporting process - Assist in UAT for new MAS610 project if assigned Annual audit/Tax - Responsible for the coordination and preparation of annual Statutory Reporting and disclosures items - Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants on accounting reports for annual auditing and tax queries - Liaise with relevant parties pertaining to the Branch's accounting and tax affairs - Review of quarterly GST reports, monthly variance analysis reports - Replying of audit confirmation Management reporting - Responsible for the Head office reporting - Prepare the monthly management reports and assist with variance analysis - Respond to ad hoc queries and requests for management information Others - Participate in month-end closing activities. - Review accruals and prepayments schedules - Prepare/Review ledger reconciliation - Review of accounts payable entries - Perform and review the Corona - bank reconciliation - Handle ad-hoc assignments by HOD

    **Required Experience**

    We request at least 5-7 year experience in Singapore preferably in a similar position in another bank of comparable size

    **Competencies Required**

    Singaporean citizenship or P.R. (Permanent Resident) status

    Fluent in English

    Detailed, meticulous and possess good problem solving skills

    Proficient in Microsoft Office skills

    Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

    Fast learner who is self-motivated and an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong PC and IT skills as well as analytical mind-set in system development & automation process.

    Experience of working in similar role in Singapore preferably in a Foreign Bank, with MAS regulatory reporting knowledge

    Involvement in MAS related projects (new MAS 610) will be an added advantage

    Ability to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
