JOB SUMMARY
As an Associate Brand Manager/ Brand Manager at AVAVA you will cultivate and leverage category and consumer insights to accelerate new and existing platforms through winning go-to-market strategies.
You will work closely with the Vice President, Marketing and the cross-functional team in development of materials and tools needed to successfully launch our first product into the marketplace and establish the AVAVA brand presence.
This is a working position in a start-up environment and will allow the individual to build a team as the business needs arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties.
Develop Customer acquisition strategy including but not limited to: Working with Marketing and Sales Leadership on targeting Customer groups (Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, small and large practices, etc.), tradeshow management, digital website development, etc.
Tradeshow management:
lead tradeshow strategy including – identifying which tradeshows are productive, manage and own full presence at tradeshows including all vendor management, staff coordination, pull through and traffic driving tactics and ROI, post event analysis.
Implement learnings ongoingly to ensure tradeshow presence is productive.Support the sales team by developing tools/ resources for successful salesforce activation.
Support development and pull through of the product's business model (customer, patient targeting, revenue model, pricing, etc.).
Remain abreast of the latest industry trends and technology.
Meet with customers, patients, trainers, sales reps and other key stakeholders.
Establish and maintain a deep, working-level knowledge of our consumers, category, brand, and products.
Leverage multiple sources of data to report accurately and regularly on and against brand performance. driving towards actionable insights.
Listen to and understand customer feedback – articulate insights and capitalize on opportunities to implement into product and program suggestions and upgrades.
Utilize your data insights and market observations to identify new opportunity areas for the business, driving thoughtful discussions to test, learn, and grow.
Help ideate insight-driven plans (Customer and Consumer) then lead cross-functional teams and projects to execute new item launches and go-to-market plans with excellence.
Support the development and execution of annual brand plans that include marketing campaigns, new product launches, promotional plans, and distribution opportunities.
Be a key contributor to the management and growth objectives of the business.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS REQUIRED
Education and/or Experience
A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field; MBA preferred
A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing or a related field.
A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments.
Takes initiative and demonstrates leadership and teamwork.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in aesthetics and/ or beauty preferable.
Experience in medical device a plus.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to identify acceptable solutions
High level of comfort with technology and its development.
Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills along with in-depth knowledge of brand development.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; adept at developing presentations in MS PowerPoint
