- Establishes and maintains a deep, working level knowledge of our consumer through research, category expertise, brands and products.
- Leads the cross-functional team to execute new item launches, new distribution opportunities and strategic growth opportunities with excellence.
- Becomes an expert in the category - understands price, positioning, competitive landscape and market needs. Translates category insights into marketing actions and tracks against progress and validation.
- Analyzes key business drivers, competitive trends, direct competitors' success and strategies, marketplace dynamics & consumer need gaps that lead to disruptive, breakthrough new product propositions for future product line development.
- Drives a consumer first mentality to develop relevant messaging and assets that deliver clear consumer understanding of products and brand and that will drive high purchase intent
- Communicates the value proposition of the products to the global teams and develop the marketing tools that support the selling process.
- Develops, manages and executes annual brand plans and calendar that include marketing campaigns, new product launches, promotional plans, merchandising and distribution opportunities.
- Leads the development of monthly and quarterly business updates, annual marketing plans and semi-annual sales materials.
- Leads in execution of all marketing launch assets including storyboards, lifestyle photography, product photography, packaging, in-store merchandising, Amazon A+ content, and more.
- Authors creative briefs to develop seasonal story positioning, photography, and ad hoc requests to support all channels including e-commerce, paid social, and retail.
- Supports development and implementation of best practices and processes across all consumer touchpoints for the business
- Supports sales and product team on sell-in needs including but not limited to research, product positioning and sample copy
- Responsible for management invoice tracking, monthly accruals, and budget reporting.
- 3-5 years of Brand Management experience, preferably experience with brand strategy, messaging, positioning, and commercialization strategy and execution
- Global/international marketing experience preferred
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns preferred
- Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products is preferred
- Experience overseeing 3rd party agencies
- Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
- Capable of doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective

Position Description:
The Brand Manager, on the Marketing team, is responsible for driving brand strategy and execution for BWB portfolio of beauty and grooming brands. The Assistant Brand Manager will cultivate and leverage consumer & category insights to accelerate new and existing platforms through winning go-to-market strategies. The Assistant Brand Manager will develop and execute GTM plans that drive consistency in voice, tone and message across all channels globally. Assistant Brand Manager has strong business analytics skills and understands of competitive landscape. This position works closely with product, sales, creative, and leadership to drive cohesive, consumer-obsessed storytelling across the marketing funnel. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a passion for brands in the beauty and grooming space.
