    Job Description for Senior Coordinator of Marketing and Events

    As a key member of the NY CREATES marketing department, the position will play a central role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and events to promote NY CREATES' mission, programs, and services within the technology and innovation ecosystem. The position will be responsible for ensuring that our marketing efforts are aligned with our overall business objectives and that events are well executed to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement.

    Job responsibilities include:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals and target audiences.
    • Create marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, digital assets, and promotional.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, trade shows, seminars, and promotional events.
    • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and onsite coordination.
    • Ensure that events are executed seamlessly, from setup to breakdown, while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to deadlines.
    • Manage events occurring on-site, including those organized by tenants and outside partners.
    • Work with Marketing & Communications team to support digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
    • Assist in maintaining the company website, ensuring content is up to date, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
    • Monitor online presence and reputation.
    • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
    Requirements:

    Minimum Requirements for Senior Coordinator of Marketing and Events
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
    • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in marketing, event planning, or related roles.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems, social media management platforms).
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; This position may require annual background checks.
    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
    • 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing and/or event planning.
    • Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or high-tech fields.
    • Proficiency in graphic design, including software (e.g. Adobe 111ustrator).

    Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000

    *Posted salary ranges re determined upon experience and education.
